Seriously, because soap is a base, you need an acid to neutralize it. Pouring a mild acid like vinegar over the spill will help keep the soap from sudsing and will help clean-up immensely.

Why are you pissed off at Palmolive? I mean did it open (push) it's little top up and tip over on purpose?
You know this wonderful soap, has only one job to do in it's miserable short existence, and that's to make your life better by making your DIRTY dishes clean and shiney, and what do you do, you get pissed off at that poor plastic container of cleanliness! I think you owe an apology not only to Palmolive, but all those soaps out there that spilled only because of the careless actions of the person who last used them for their selfish concerns, for clean dishes!
Oh yeah, a little advise; never, and I mean NEVER, replace dishwasher detergent with Palmolive (or any other dish soap). You thought it was a sudsy mess cleaning the cabinet up? Yeah, try cleaning a WHOLE kitchen full ofsuds!

haha i'm with you on that one. it's like the world implodes in that one spot in your kitchen. it's all, "CLEAN up SOAP? WTF? I don't think so. " then it bubbles up.
